We are looking for the following people to engage with immediate effect:
STORYBOARD ARTISTS (2)
BACKGROUND ARTIST S (2)
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
° Excellent drawing skills
° Team spirit
° Ability to learn fast
° Readiness to switch to a digital workflow
° Co-ordinated personality
° Ability to maintain milestones
° Excellent sense of humor
° Fluent in English Language. German is good but neither mandatory, nor increases chances.
° Interested in exotic cultures and African mythology.
EXTRA REQUIREMENTS:
° The Storybard artist will be working in close contact with the Director but should be able to independently interpret a shooting script to the nearest possible precision (In the absence this, please see Optional Requirements below)
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
° Ability and readiness to learn Storyboarding basics and terminologies in an intensive personal crash course with the director prior to the beginning of the engagement.
° Readiness to learn a new software if necessary
REMUNERATION:
As a VLB production, remuneration cannot be granted as a salary but is subject to agreement, such as “pocket money” and token payments. However, the following realistic benefits are neither to be underestimated, nor overlooked:
° Real practical first hand experience in an international Animation Co-production
° A very interesting, exciting and special project which will get lots of exposure
° Your name next to influential names like ARTE, Focus Features etc.
° A reputable portfolio especially for those new in the business

MEETINGS:
Regular meetings on a weekly basis are mandatory. If the applicant’s residency does not allow for personal meetings, an extremely fast internet connection, a Skype account and a web camera are required.
